I received this an ARC and honestly, I would have paid for it.

I was transported to ranch that was described in panoramic beauty that I felt like I was there. The characters of Mariska and Stuart were such a lovely contrast of strength & vulnerability, sweetness & hardness, and mystery and truth... displayed by both at different times. I found myself laughing out loud at parts, then my heart broke and I cried.

Any author who can bring such emotion to the surface is talented and Ms. Louise is certainly that.
